Still happening now in 2021, exactly like the above comments. I am charging back on my entire 3 years of membership. What a joke. No one replies when you message in. Mark my words- within 5 years this app and website will be down permanently. All it has going for it is the name and longevity of it being online. Aside from that ICC and LICHESS are 100% better every single way.

Anyway this bug hasn't been fixed. I think the administrators should fix this. Instead of that annoying message popping up. They should message something more specific. "close other windows to join tournament? confirm or not", OR "you're currently in a game, leave that game and join tournament?". How hard can it be? They have that option on other chess sites that are less big than chess.com
