Report a verbally abusive player? how?

Just met another abusive player, [name removed]. Is there anyone can help me to report about this player?
[Please don't make accusations in the public forums - the correct process for reporting has already been described by other members of the community, above.

Such a wasted effort. I answered in post three.

666buffchix. Like I said, it really didn't bother me much, but my 8 year old nephew also plays here and I really don't want him, or anyone really, to be exposed to that kind of bulldust. But, hey, thanks for your valuable input!
To those of you who actually answered my question instead of trying to teach me a life lesson: thanks

Doesn't anybody know about the Report button?
Click on the player profile. It is the last icon and contains a "!" Or exclamation.

fastest way to get a player banned from chess.com is to take a screenshot of the abuse and upload it to imgur/other web picture host. Then find a mod in the help&support chat tab and give him the link. i guess youll find a mod at 7AM

That requires common sense, which people on the Internet usually lack.

your nephew should play then in https://www.chesskid.com/

Its obvious, youre very concerned about what your son is exposed to.

Surely your phone has a web browser. There are a lot of things that can't be done on the apps.

Disabling chat is the easiest way to avoid abusive players, but reporting them otherwise is certainly a good option. Doesn't really matter if you are offended or not, the chess site will just be better without such morons so just report them because they deserve it rather than because it matters. Maybe then they'll learn, though unlikely with such people.

My son? I don't have a son! Do I have a son somewhere!? And he plays chess??? (Is he any good?)
Seriously though, I hardly think bulldust is going to traumatize anyone. It's a bit of a wonky comparison. I realize that there are children who live extremely sheltered lives and would react negatively to "bullshit", but their parents most likely won't let them go online unsupervised. So I'm probably in the clear

No, sorry, I just grossly overreacted to a later comment you made about people on the internet not knowing things because they lack common sense. I was like: this motherlover wanna throw down? Let's go! Because apparently that's how I roll when I'm tired and cranky. Sorry, it was uncalled for.
Is there anyway that I can report this player?
I tried sending them a friendly message where I said they played a pretty good chess and asked them to mind their attitude in the future as that kind of behavior really won't help with anything.
But I'd been blocked...
