The site doesn't reset ratings. Just play games and you will get to where you should be pretty quickly.

Why would you want to reset the ratings in the first place? As Martin mentioned, playing games is quite sufficient to maintain proper rating.

RuneTonseth

Only rating that could be reset was tactics dont know if it works anymore

RuneTonseth

And I just tried it. It works...:)

I believe you can reset Mentor/Lessons too. Or at least you can in v3.

Diakonia

You can reset chess mentor and tactics trainer ratings.

I have done tactics a few times just wasn't interested in testing on Mentor grin.png

I think it was a great idea being able to reset it.  I go thorugh courses, and then reset my rating.  It gives me a better idea of how im improving.

In activity were your rating are without an opponent its ok with a reset button. But chess stats were you face and influence other users shouldn't be possible to reset. Its simple : play better in order to increase rating.,,,,.:)

Unless you say that you sold your account to someone else, even if you're clearly joking.

Reset chess mentor may allow you to do exercises all over, but why desire to reset other ratings?

Robert_New_Alekhine

They had a bug that made me lose 100 daily games on time...they reset my rating back to what it used to be.

DoctorStrange

Can I get to 1479 again?

VirtualKnightJoakim

Yes, anyone can get their old rating back. Just play some games. In general, you may be better of not playing too many concurrent games and spend more time per move so increase your win ratio and rating. You will also learn more that way. Cheers,
