Actually, I have "game over" checked as an alert, and I have never received an alert when a game is over.
More bugs!

It should appear in the list of game alerts. It's only when you open it that you realise it's game over rather than a move. That's how I get them.
I've seen this happen to my games too. It seems like over the past few months sometimes it has notified me and sometimes it hasn't. I haven't figured out if it's related to some characteristic of my account, such as number of games in progress, where I am in the menus when the game ends, etc, or whether it's just a random code bug due to the new website roll-out (April-ish?).
I was playing a tournament game...
My opponent resigned, and the result was never told to me...
The game simply disappeared off of my home screen, no message or anything indicating that I had won the game.
I had to go digging around in my game archive to see that my opponent had resigned the game.
How are results of games usually given on chess.com? Do they not tell you the result some other way?
