Reviewing game past resignation point.

Hi!

In a game with resignation, I'd like to continue reviewing it further past resignation point. That is - I want to make a move and see if it was the best move or not. As I've found, in Review mode you can't immediately do that - you can review only till the resignation, but you can continue the game in analysis mode which also shows couple of best possible moves and after you've continued playing in analysis mode you can then review it, but what confuses me is that the best move options provided in analysis mode don't match what is considered the best move in review mode. None of the moves in analysis mode have a move that is considered the best in review mode. At least in this case I'm reviewing.

Am I not understanding something? And is there an easier way to review game past resignation?

After black g6, analysis gives me options Rd1, Qf4, Bd4, but review and other AI tools will say that h4 is the best move.

P.S. How do you share a game with the board? Tried inserting board from URL, but it is not loading it.

That does sound reasonable, but in this case Review move actually matched stockfish move and it is the analysis tool in which none of the 3 moves had the best option.

Oh, and just remembered - I played with the Review a bit more and later it showed different move as the best. Go figure.

You should post the game PGN. Click on the share button and select the PGN tab to get the PGN.

The game review and game analysis are probably being calculated to different depths. That's why you're getting different results.
