Save, preview... and then what?
I'm afraid no. I had already checked it out.
And, just to be sure, I've also just tried to save another content and look if I could find it this way, but in vain.
It just looks like it doesn't work properly with my account !
Ok. I made another try. This time (the only difference being I tried to save and preview a blog page, and not a page for my italian chess.com group as the two times before) I can find the title of the page I saved with a red "Not published" indication in "my recent activity" section, but, anyhow, if I try to use the link, instead of having the page i was looking for, I get the "chess.com/blog/" blogs mainpage!
I'm afraid I have the same problem.
EDIT: Ah ha! I solved my problem by typing in the URL that would have been created if I had posted the topic.
As of 2023 December, I can say chess.com are still keeping saved draft blog posts rather elusive. Returning to work on your draft the next day, the site certainly gives the impression that your draft might have vanished into dark midsts of the internet; there is no prominant or intuitive route to your draft blog posts.
However, after a bit of spelunking around site's crevasses and caves, I found them oddly placed, but not hidden, on my 'Profile' page, under recent activity. As it stands this might be the only way to navigate to draft posts, which suggests the route might be cut off if your draft becomes 'non recent'. What constitutes 'non recent' ? Oddly, if you make comments on articles, news, or blog posts, then these are considered 'activity' and they knock your draft down the ranks of 'recent'. In other words, it might be possible to effectively delete drafts by commenting too much on other posts.
I've got this problem (I do perfectly know it could be stupid):
I started writing a post, but having not the time to finish it, i saved it using the "save and preview" button below the editing box, in order to get back to it later. But when, after half an hour I decided to complete it, I realized I had no idea where to find it back!
Anyone who can help?
