Set up own board?

Is there a way to set up scenarios that I can play out like without a computer? Like where I can have any piece anywhere?

Go to the Analysis board and go to "Setup".  This option allows you to place pieces wherever you want.  There is a trashcan icon there which will quickly clear the board.
