Site Errors?

Today I have been getting Bad Gateway Error 502 ? Any Ideas. I logged in on another system and everything seems fine.

Yeah got that too. On a game i was playing on the iPad, it suddenly quit and said something about maintenance. When it came back online after 5-10 minutes, the game I played was lost, du to "abandoned" :(

When I receive a message from chess.com notifying me that a tournie has started, the link button produces an error saying it can't contact the server. This has been happening for a few weeks now for a number of messages. Concerning that there seems to be a number of technical issues on the site of late. Remind me, how much do we pay per year?!

I am not getting notifications for when forums I am tracking have posts added.

I suspect this is an intermittent problem. I get one or two here or there, but then I check the forums for the latest post and see some that should be. I think this may have gone on for a while unnoticed because I was getting some, just not all.
I just have the basic chess account, but frequently ads have been placed in the middle of the board during my game causing me to lose because I cannot see my pieces. This is incredibly frustrating. How can I get this to stop.

I guess I'm like everybody else when it comes to not being notified of new comments in tracked threads. I'm REALLY sick though, of having to keep logging in even though I check the remember box.

This isn't a pressing issue, but I have a suggestion for a new online chess move-input option.
Occasionally i will log onto chess.com on my phone (HTC) to check on my online chess games, but for some reason the touch-screen doesnt work for moving the pieces about.
I'm no programmer, but would it be possible to make an option where you can type the notation of the move you want to submit.

I dont have a full view of the board when im playing the computer? (a8-h8 is all missing.) I've tried deleting my browser's cache. I use Safari, and I have all software updates and everything.
If its 'vs computer' click on the settings on that page to the side of the board then check the box marked 'Board Coordinates' then save changes

I have the same problem, but since I almost never play vs Computer, I didn't really care. But, anyway, I just tried several times with the Board Coordinates checked, then with the box unchecked and it made no difference whatsoever. Could there be a different reason. I'm using FF.

Hmm no after checking it on FF Mac, it looks like there is an issue on there not just relating to coordinates. I'll test this on the other browsers to get a better idea of whats going on.

same with me, when i click to look at the tournament home page every time a new one has started, my server (google chrome) says it can't find the tournament homepage.
Nameno, I looked at the other thread, but, obviously couldn't post in it because you have me blocked. There seem to be an unusual number of bugs popping up lately, judging by many people's comments. I have had some problems, also. Your best bet would probably be to submit a ticket directly to staff.
Many members have had an issue posting a vid or pic. I believe there is no need to go to edit and preview now before submitting. Some members thought it might be their browser, so, depending on what you're using, try another?
BTW, I unblocked everyone on my list.
