Yes everything else on my phone is working it is solely a sound problem in the chess.com app.
If you want some examples the sound on youtube, Instagram, twitter, phone calls, etc are all still working. :/

If you play with the iPhone app, make sure the ringer switch is in the ’on’ position.
For whatever reason the game decided to reward me with the sound completely not working anymore…
I have been playing this game weekly and often daily for *10 years* and never had this problem before.
There is no sound at all in the app for me, no sound for pieces moving, no sound for checks, no sound for attempt to move to illegal square, no sound for anything, the game is deathly silent.
It really damaged a lot my playing experience, the silence disorients me and makes the game unplayable.
How do I solve it?? I dug into the setting for an hour and couldn’t find anything that can solve it. I tried to check the app’s settings on the phone’s settings, tried to delete and reinstall the app, I believe I tried everything and nothing solved the problem.
10 years of playing on this lovely app might come to an end if I can’t get this to work again.
Please, if you got any suggestions to solve this sound issue I would highly appreciate it.
