Spell Check not working?
The spell checker doesn't seme to be working for posts to a forum such as this one. It didn't catcht any of the mispelings in this post.
um... maybe because there are no mispelings?

This is the post I got off my Thread on "Spell Check" 7 weeks ago.
macer75 are you not a good speller there are errors in that post
antivirus you are not very good at detecting sarcasm :)
Seems like it just spins its wheels now. I never get a result, and it locks up my screen unless I just click Post Comment, at which point I get an error and my comment gets posted.
Yes the spining started a couple of months ago and I found that just clicking on Home or Tournaments and then go back to it to post your message was the easiest for me. This thread is six months old and no sign of a fix yet except the "We are working on it" posts from c.com.
Okay, it's been months and it's still not working!
. However, I know of a way to get Firefox's (I don't know about other browsers, but it'll probably work on IE and Chrome too) built-in spell checker working here; the spellcheck boolean attribute in the editor's HTML needs to be set to true. Until they get this fixed, can they at least do that? Actually, with that, chess.com might not need their own spell checker at all...
Or if it's not going to be fixed, maybe they should just do what I suggested (enabling the spellcheck attribute), then remove the site's spell checker. It's ridiculous that I have to jump through hoops just to have spell-checking functionality. I don't want to have to enable the attribute every time I want to have spell-checking. And it would be one less thing for chess.com to have to maintain. You know it makes sense
.
Eat a lot of food that gives you reaaaallllly bad gas and then play in an otb tournament, and use chemical warfare to force your opponents into submission!
What's that got to do with spell checking?
