STALLING IS DRIVING ME NUTS!~!

Idk about you folks,
Lately, I have been facing a lot more stallers than ever...!!!!
It's completely absurd how much audacity a guy has when the dude stalls the clock out when I have a mate in 2 on the board...
And now im having to sit there and watch the paint dry for 8 god-damn minutes...

Im thankful disconnection leads to auto-resignation ... but this system cant meaningfully fight those bozos who I assume stay online and do something else...

I report these baboons ASAP.... but either the punishment isn't severe or it's not being picked up, because today I faced 3 stallers out of 8 rapid games...
yesterday 4 stallers out of 11 rapid games.....

Something has to be done to deal with these idiots...!!!
Running the experience for everyone involved

I had to stop playing 15|10 and 30|0 because it doesn't make sense sitting there waiting for 29 minutes after a guy blunders on move 1 (obvious pun, but that's how I feel about it)!!!

Disappointed by this!!!

Stalling is a big problem

People stall to get someone to go away to get the W they didn't deserve

This isn’t an online problem. It’s not up to chess.com to fix it. People can also stall games OTB as well.

You know what players do when that happens? Take a breather. Stretch. Go use the bathroom. Relax.

No point in having an aneurysm over something this absurd.

This is a problem. There are those who mock on every thread, they are just your typical online folk who like to wind people up...why? I wouldn't care to suggest. I have some notions as to their motivation but unfortunately none of them are appropriate for civilised conversation. I do to some degree agree with the comment earlier regarding not being worth an aneurism, but regardless this is an issue. Personally, i block them, report them and move on. The issue is I guess that they have entered into a contract to play the game for a certain amount of time, and if they choose to switch windows and surf the net whilst you patiently wait for them to move, to some extent that is their prerogative. It demonstrates a level of ignorance and disrespect to a fellow chess players which is why i block them. Why should i want to play against such a person - honestly once they do this, my interest in them as a chess player evaporates and they are not worth playing again. The ones that really disappoint me are those who stall till there are a few seconds left and then make a move....just to see if you have lost interest and so catch you out...These people are then demonstrating the use of psychology to actively attempt to swindle the result into their favour. This is utterly disgusting behaviour and shows total contempt for both the opponent, the rating system and other peoples enjoyment of the game. Again I block and report - but with an explanation of the behaviour. I have no idea if there is a solution to the problem (i have taken to playing only blitz and bullet partially in response to the problem), but rest assured I too feel your pain.

It seems that you have not understood. I have not protested their right to such actions, I just don't give the opportunity to repeat the action. I also haven't used emojis to convey my disliking to someone else's observations. I have merely sided to console the frustration of the threads originator with my own experiences and reaction to said experience. When you have something to contribute why should you not? And for clarity, it is meant rhetorically.

Just block them

Yeah, I get it ... that's usually what I do, Its fine to stall in like blitz or bullet, in the worst case its a few mins .. but When someone has like 20 mins on the clock and just stalls the clock out ...
I hope you get it...
Amid university, studies anol I barely get to dedicate 2 hours to chess, and in that time Im having to sit for 20 mins watching paint dry cuz my opponent is a moron who loves to stall!
