When it is my turn, occasionally I’ll get bug where I make a move and it looks like the move has happened. However, my time keeps going down and the opponent can’t see my move. There is then nothing I can do! I have seen it happen a few times and figured out when I offer a draw suddenly my moves register and it flips to opponent turn.... who then accepts the draw!

Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening. I play using the app on my iPad

I just had the same problem on my last two games except neither clock was running. After a few minutes it said I lost because I abandoned the game.

this has been happening to me almost every other game whether on wifi or lte

I found another workaround where if you press the back button when it happens and replay the move from there it registers!

Upgrading to version 3.9.16 (2) of the app may help. The last couple of versions had related bugs.
