Strange clock activity

I just finished a live chess game with no bonus time, and during the game my opponent's clock went to zero twice. The first time it sat at zero for several seconds (long enough for me to go to a different browser tab and refresh my live chess game list to see if the final result had posted -- it had not and the clock was still at zero when I returned to the live chess game). The clock eventually jumped from zero to more than a minute left. The second time the clock counted down, it sat at zero for a few seconds and then jumped up to zero minutes, 22 seconds left. I eventually won by checkmate, but the clock activity seems very odd. The clock did not seem to jump around at any time other than the two points where it zeroed out. Here is a link to the game:

I bellieve that is due to lag.

Both my opponent and I had good connections -- my lag meter was green and completely full; my opponent's was green and mostly full. But even if it were lag, a jump from zero to more than a minute after a several-second delay seems problematic.

you're not alone.   I played a 3 0 blitz game earlier... I was quite happily playing along with what I believed to be about a minute left on the clock, with my oponent playing with a slight time advantage.

After a game with near zero lag on both sides, my connection was interrupted for around 5 secs, and when it came back I'd forfeited on time. (MRGF!)

While I can't be 100% on the exact time... I'm quite certain I should've had the best part of a minute remaining in the game... and my oponent was still over a min. so I don't know what happened.

I don't know if they're linked either, but I definitely found it odd at the time..

Investigating...

bcdeck: This may occur in longer games, the one you played lasted about 42 minutes. We'll fix the issue soon.

More clock rubbish... this game STOPPED like  3 or 4 times for periods of up to 10 secs, and every time it came back at least 10-15 secs had been added...

This was NOT lag.
