Suggestion: 24 Hour Games

I just wanted to make a suggestion because it was something that I was looking for and would use but can not find among the options.

As opposed to the existing rapid games and the one day per move games, I was hoping to find and would make use of games where it is 24 hours total for each side to use as they wish. Each side has one day to make all of their moves.

I would quite like to have games where there is enough leisure to think about moves more or less without high pressure (and to attend to the rest of life) but where the game will be concluded within 24-48 hours as opposed to dragging out for a week or two depending on how quickly either side plays. If one side actually does make one move per day you can be looking at a month for a reasonably "brief" game in terms of moves.

Shouldn't there be something in between rapid games and the prospect of having a game take ten days or longer...

I imagine I would not be the only person who would make use of this format if it were available.

And if it does exist already please point me in that direction as I was unable to find it.

Thanks for pointing that out but if that's the closest thing I think it highlights the absence of what I am suggesting.

I figure if I have actively sought out this option then I am probably not the only one and if I am actually noticing its absence there are probably a number of others who would at least use and benefit from the option even if they don't go as far as to independently seek it out and request it.
