Not as a response to this post. Here is my proposal:

Opening Rush - a feature like puzzle rush but it should be consisted of opening traps only. This way we will be encouraged to learn openings and learning will be fun, we will enjoy learning.

It should be both ways (but randomly): once we should be a move in advance of finding the trap and executing it, and sometime we should be the side that needs to avoid the trap. I am considering to propose it to the site.

I am quite new to the site but already feel it could improve in different ways. Just suggestions. And maybe some are just because I don't know how to use the site well...

1) more statistics and analysys tools:
- some kind of analysys of one's games in statistics, for instance (like preferred opening and defense, for instance and win/loss percentage in everyone)
- to be able to save one's 'best' or most interesting games con notes, keeping them quickly accessible (and maybe to be shown on profile)

2) More interaction opportunities
- chat sometimes is missed because it's not easy to see that there is a message waiting
- improve the search tool or possibilities to make friends. playing random players is great but it can lead to annoying situations, sometimes.
- improve player's profiles

3) the app: it can be improved in many ways
- is difficult to see numbers of mistakes and other analysis numbers sometimes

4) analysis tool
- it's only me finding it a bit clumsy? it can be improved and also the famous games by masters could be more accessibile and it would be great to be possible to interact making different moves before going back to the actual match (it seems to me that is not possibile, while it is in other websites)

Also, I know we can download them but I would like to be able to rapidly access a menu of 'favourite' games for consultation. Obviously I can bookmark them in the browser but i would like to have it easily accessible from my profile.

Fog of War feature suggestion: option to switch off live spectating.
Rationale: I occasionally run into high rated FoW players, who bring along a spectator. I do feel uncomfortable about it, especially, when the spectator joins right after we start to play. Needless to say, an all-seeing second account makes you unbeatable. I'm not saying this actually happens but spectating definitely makes this way of cheating possible. An easy solution to this would be an option to switch off live spectating if at least one of the players wishes to do so.

This is the best suggestion in my opinion! The hardest thing for me to do is still openings. The best thing I can do now is play against bots who play a certain opening style, and then restart games until the position I want happens. Very time consuming and inefficient for practicing.

More hyperbullet arena/swiss tournaments, as many as the popular 1 minute tournaments.

A faster way to look up the cheaters in our game archive. Maybe by installing a “cheater” filter ?

Please have option to play ultra bullet. 

Please have option to play 960 bullet, but that should be a separate rating from the live960 rating we currently have.

Can we have a feature that highlights the clock (e.g. flashing or in red) when it gets under 10 seconds please? I'm unable to hear the audible warning.

Puzzles would be more enjoyable if they would alternate colors.   I've seen grandmasters have trouble, in some positions, trying to determine which side they are trying to solve . Of course, one could consult the board coordinates each time a puzzle begins.   It's all about flow and flow would be better if you could always start with the White pieces and then alternate.  

Please implement "Kings Right" chess variant.  Same rules.  Same notation.  The only difference is you swap the starting position of the Black King and Black Queen.  Both Kings are located to the the right of the Queen.  Everything else is the same.   You'll probably be amazed at what this does to opening strategies.  

I like viewing my statistics and seeing how I improve, but one feature that might be helpful is knowing how many games I won by flagging versus checkmating versus resigning, as well as lost respectively for each category.

While you would have to count them yourself, the Archive let's you sort by types of wins/losses/draws

Theme sound please so it is not boring playing without hearing any just the snap of your pieces while moved. Ambiance like coffee shop, study, park, tournament hall will be great..

Personalized puzzles/mistakes training.

Mine my last say, 100-500 games for bad moves I've made, and present them as puzzles to me.

Maybe filter out time-induced blunders (EG, when clock is <15%).

I'd like to be able to see all my current game easily.  It used to be a featre but you have removed it.
