Do you just stop playing and let the timer run out when you were losing? That’s the main way.
Also matchmaking and then aborting too often will do it. Some people do it too often because they want to play white.

Poor Sportsmanship gets account placed in a different player pool, not suspended. Accounts are closed for some type of TOS violations.

I sympathise with your predicament, but why should your opponent have to agree to a draw due to your error.
You should have played on or resigned and chalked it up to experience. Now your opponent has probably blocked you and maybe a few others will too. Not a good outcome.

Accounts are not closed for that reason. It was for something else.

@ALasky, I will say, you can appeal a closure, but what was described isn't enough to close an account on it's own.
