Tactics Trainer over pass/fail %

Hi there!

So recently, I noticed the stats page for the tactics trainer has changed. The main thing I used to track my progress was my overall pass/fail percentage. I rarely looked at my rating, the goal being to pass every problem completely regardless of time with the thought being as my understanding grows, my speed will follow naturally in time.

However, I can no longer seem to find that particular stat. I've looked under settings and performance and found nothing quite like that. I certainly find all the information and the new layout helpful and easy on the eyes, but I am wondering where I could find that old number that just told me how many problems I've attempted, how many I've passed (completely) or failed and that ratio.

The "accuracy" stat isn't quite the same, as it factors in time and score. I could certainly total up the daily values, or even look at the daily red/blue bars and consider that I want to aim for all blue bars instead of all red bars, but I have to admit that tracking the rise and fall of the overall percentage was very motivational for me.

Thanks much.

Good points! The historical stats will be returning... We're in a bit of a transition with Trainer right now: incorporating the cool new charts you are seeing there (and addressing some related data issues).

But once that's in order we need to move some stuff around to make sure the important stuff is up front (like the metric you are missing now), and the more complex/detailed stuff is just a click away, on that new stats page. :)

The best I can find is under daily activity on the performance page. You can see the absolute figures for each month at the top of the graph, next to accuracy. You'll have to calculate the percentage yourself. Personally, I track it using the blue and red bars in the daily activity graph, but it would be nice to see it as a percentage figure too. In fact, I think it would be better if the accuracy figure was our pass ratio rather than the average score.

I think that while average score is a useful stat in the themes section, it is less useful as an overall stat. In a way it is an indication of progress. Above 50% means your rating is improving, and under means it is declining. I wonder if any of us improve fast enough that our average score is much over 50%.

I like the new rating history graph. I hope they get rid of the commas in the ratings figures though. It looks really awkward.

Agree! I'll remove it ASAP.
