Hello Chess.com and to all users,

You can use this forum topic to thank the people of Chess.com; for their consideration and quick response of solving the problems encountered when using the website.  Tell us a story of what happened wrong and how it was fixed or just simply say thank you.

-------------

My problem is; recently the website is saying that I am unfairly abandoning live games I am playing, when truly I am not.  See topic forum:-

I never abandoned my game, Chess.com website is defective.

Using the Help & Support pages were really not of any help and I do not see any link to contact someone to write to them about the problem I am having.  This is why I had to post something in a forum.  Upset as I am…  Mind you, I do apologize.

I have not received any messages from the admins of this site but I would like to let them know that after I posted my first topic in a forum; days later I was able to play a game and not have any interruptions or so called disconnections from the server.  I have played one game a day for four days and it ran smoothly.

Chess.com if you did something to help improve my experience on the site, I would like to say Thank You!  Thank you for your response, because I really like your website.  I hope it continues to improve and get better.

By the way...

Oddly though; today as I am writing this second topic in the Help & Support forum, on a page where I just finished a game and without any live tournaments showing on the screen, a message came up saying the server is disconnected and trying to connect again.  I refresh the page and it came back on fine.  You should also know during the four days of game play, even though I did not had any disconnections; I still noticed in the chat box, messages that showed my opponent got disconnected and then reconnected.  May be they are doing it on purpose, but may be also it can be the server and settings need to be adjusted.  I think you should explore all possibilities.

To the Chess.com team, thank you again.

@ChocolateMudslide

I'm sorry to hear you were having connection issues :( However, as Doggy_style said in the message above, if you'd like to get a hold of us via the ticket center we can try to troubleshoot what may be causing the connection issue.

The restriction won't disappear until your fair play evens out against games that have been aborted (which is why you were still seeing the message for a few days after the games had been aborted).

Thank you chess.com for having forums where life is not normal. Where some think they are not nuts although they may be nuts or a bit nuts about nuts. Where brilliant people meet the nuckleheads and shanks meet lovely ladies.Topics worth reading and others worth laughing and engaging. Where i can play serious chess and get cursed by bad losers. Where ideas can be shared by others with sincerity and whimsical by others. Where i can be friends with chess playing people old enough to be my grandpa and others who pretend to be ladies. Thank you for not banning lunatics and thank you for preserving the threads of good humored people.More power to you and to your armpits. You guys rock en roll!
