Waiting the fix. I don't upgrade ios because all devices turn really slow with new ios versions.
Hearing news of a fix warms my heart. I'm a huge fan of Chess.com and so is my 10 year old son. Thanks!

One of the developers posted in the topic. A fix was made and the app was going through testing. Once that is done and it is provided to Apple, it can take some time to go through that process.

FYI while I have been waiting for the fix, I have been using the website to play on my first edition iPad with iOS 7. Not quite as good as the app, but almost.
Still waiting....
I am going to play my first on-board tournament (Rapid - swiss system) tomorrow. I dont know about general rules to follow. Can any body help me in this regard. Should i pronounce 'check' / 'Checkmate' if i am checking/checkmating my opponent?

You should really post a new topic, rather than post in an unrelated one. Assuming the tourney is FIDE rated, you can always read up on the rules:

In general, you don't have to announce check or checkmate and some consider it amateurish.
