I agree it is so wrong!!
Or if the TD wants to change the parameters then he/she should be obliged to inform the players of these changes allowing them the chance to withdraw :(

The challenge here is that ratings change while players are waiting for the tournament to begin. Some ratings go up. Some ratings go down. So if your issue is ratings in a class tournament - get over it.
Time controls are another matter. Once the tournament has been created, time controls should not be allowed to change and especially once play commences-though from time to time I see posts from people who think agreed upon time controls should be changed for games in progress.
I can understand the ratings going up but the tournament had a rating limit set at 600-1500 so by rights the tournament should have automatically removed players that was >1500.
Fact is I joined this particular tournament ONLY on the fact it was 5 days per move then when the tourney started I noticed it had changed to 3 days per move.
Fact of the matter is the TD in question should have announced that he/she was changing the days per move to allow those who wanted to withdraw to do so
Joining a tournament saying..... "Hi, a tournament for all players with <1500 Elo, to keep even chanches players with a higher ELO will be removed from the players list.".....
At the Tournaments start there were at least two player's over 1500 Elo, and the time pr.move had been chanced from 5days to 3 days, both without notifying those who joined the tournament. As the tournament was started and leaving us who doesn't want to play it under these new conditions a chance to withdraw without loosing all the games.
A way to solve a problem, alike in the future, I would suggest that once sombody has made tournament public, nothing can be chanced.
