And cue the clock hacking paranoia. Whoop! Whoop!
Time cheaters!
Well I guess he was playing premoves and as a bullet player u must know this strategy of premoves if u play a premove provided its legal it practically costs u no time. So I guess he was smart to play premoves any bullet player would do that when he is about to run out of time. And any other chess server offers premoves. Hope u got ur answer.
Thank you guys, I'm a bit less pis*ed off now. Strange though, premoves. It's not a very fair concept, is it?
Special thanks to AndTheLittleOneSaid. It's always great to have people answer like that.

I looked at the game, premoves definitely, plain ans simple pawn pushes, you moved your king here and there and he went for queening his pawns
You'd better learn premoves if you want to win more often, especially in bullet:

Some people use premoves in the openings as well.
It could lead to a funny results as people sometimes hope that you will use premoves as well, and they will try to grab your rook or queen
If it fails, they resign.

Okay, fair enough, I'm sorry.
But I assumed you already knew about premoves, and this was a direct response to the previous 'clock hacking' thread, and probably the first of a wave of such threads.

Yes, I'd like to know what the upshot was to the previous "clock hacking" thread, which you can find here.
As you can see in the final post to that thread, Erik was going to have a private communication with the OP, who claimed to have a viable clock hack.
But as far as I know Erik has not responded publicly to his claims.

What's more fair? The guy with only the king hanging on for a victory even though his opponent has plenty of material?

Actually, it is - it's a bullet. It's about speed as much as about chess. That's why it's called bullet.

It looks like Chessocity may have been correct about the potential of clock hacking here on chess.com, because now Chessocity has a diamond membership, which Erik promised him if he could provide proof of how the clock hacking was done.

ah, sweet vindication against the jack wagons that couldn't focus on the topic in the other thread..

Hope he enjoys his well-deserved reward.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to write a limerick on which way I face my bishops.
Wows, now this thread got more attention that I wanted.
I didn't know about premoves, and when I got the message from some of you guys, I checked them out in help, but it's a pretty bad explanation. I mean, they explained WHAT they are, but they also wrote that one can 'enter' premoves, and what would that do.
However, I'm still uncertain HOW to exercise them :)
I'll search for that explanation on the forum, to start using that unfair mean of victory too. This thread got enough offtopic.
Thanks everyone

Premoves: first -enable them in the settings.
Second, just play the move(s) as you normally would. You can play several moves in the row if you wish.
Be careful though, sometimes premoves can also cost you a game.

I kinda agree with the OP on this.
IMO premoves are (more or less) equivalent to "hovering" over the chess clock button, which is forbidden in FIDE laws of chess (Article 6.7 b)
Hello everyone,
Could you please provide info about the measures you are making against "time cheaters"?
I played today with this guy: ohmygod72. I won one, and lost three or something. He's better and he was playing better than I did, that's ok. However, in the last game, he was left with 2.4 sec. Instead for going for checkmate, he simply took out three pawns, and EXCHANGED THEM FOR QUEENS!!!
After he did that, he was still at 2.4sec !!!
And he was clearly demonstrating how he is faster than your game, because he could have moved the king or one of the queens. But he didn't - he simply took out those three queens.
Any comments?
Btw, I'm definitely sick of this, and am trying to find some other chess server where I can play bullet. I know some of you here don't consider it a chess, but it should be fun, anyway. Not frustrating like this. I feel like I've been playing Counter Strike, and someone had wallhack or aim.
Thank you,
Dan
