I am new here.  My last game was lost due to time.  My opponents clock kept having time added to it. A ten minute game against " desertfox228 (1262) ".   The game is end by time ... he has 9:41 on his clock ... I ran out of time of course.  I said something to him and he said it was not so. How did this happen?

Most beginners are not aware of increments.I played this noob once with time increment and he went batshit over me and accused me of time cheating.

In your case,a 15|10 game means that you both have 15 minutes each and for every move that you make, a 10 second increase is added to your time

It was a 15/0 game not a 15/10 game. There was no increment.
