time left in game

Does anyone know why when my opponent has 2 minutes left on his turn and it continues to count down towards 1 minute and 50 seconds but instead of continuing to zero it will revert back to over 2 minutes? In essence my opponenet has unlimited time.

And of course he could, if he's an inventive no conscience slimeball, be using a lag switch.  We're probably not supposed to talk about that possibility in the general forums.  If just one opponent, I'd report him as a possible cheater. If this is happening in most of your games, then it's a crappy connection or computer issue somewhere along the way.  And here's the link to get in touch with staff:

Thanks for the response. It sheds light on what was happening. My connection and wi fi is excellent so I don't believe it was a connection issue.
