time outs

What is time outs and what do you understand when they say time outs must be less than 10%.This is why I cannot play tournaments

Timeouts are games that you lost on time.

At 17% yours is very high, so you would have to play another 21 games without timing out to get your ratio below 10% and be able to enter tournaments.

If you can know beforehand that you will be busy the wiser thing is to go on vacation to minimise timeout

My total games are around 60 and my time outs are 30. 50% timeouts were due to an exam and a tournyment at the same time... bad idea on my part. I lost the games a few hours before i logged back on so now i need *edit* 240 or 241 /edit* games to be able to play in tournyments again ><.

Moral: Use vacation when you think you'll be gone for a bit.

Of course, if you had a membership, you would be put on auto vacation instead of timing out and you needed ever lose a game on time again. :-)

For 30 time outs you'd only need to finish 240 or 241 more games without losing on time.
