Timer getting stopped frequently

Timer getting stopped frequently in iOS and stopping game. But in the background it is running even though connection strength is highlighting 3 points. After losing 3 or more minutes it works again by then would have lost that time. Timer works properly again if request a Draw. I’ll be lucky if other party doesn’t accept it.

Hope you guys fix the bug soon

Same with me. Timer stops when the other should move and then, surprisingly I lose the game. It has happened 4 times in las week and it is very annoying frankly

Same. I get so many games lost because the clocks stop even while connectivity show as 100%. Not sure if an iOS problem or general for the platform but I’m pretty tired of connectivity problems...

Same here. Just played 2 games of 5/5, clocks froze (opponents move). After a few minutes I lose on time, both games.

Is this definitely a server issue? I.e. nothing to do but hope it’s resolved?

Same issue here. I had 4 bars on connectivity, but opponents clock froze for a long time so I took screenshots. Note between my first and second screenshot my iPhone clock in the top left corner elapsed 2 minutes, but I had lost over 8 minutes on my game clock.

Me too. Please fix this and put our rating levels back to where they. I’ve been declared the loser by “abandonment” now three times in three days even though it was showing that it was my opponent’s turn to move. Is this only on iOS?

I am having the same issue. Then today during a tournament time stopped and I closed the game and came back. When I did my previous move was reverted and somehow I lost 3 minutes off the times. Then it did it again the second game and I had already won and the mate was not acknowledged

Same here... 2 different devices (iOS) and same bug with app. Please fix it asap, as it’s impossible to use app to play <10mins games

It just said I lost due to abandonment while I was still in the game and had made my move already. This is really starting to suck.

Yes — this is extremely annoying. You never know if your move registered or not.

Again, using iOS here as well.

BTW, I am sure that I won some games for the same issue. But I am upset that this keeps happening, people keep reporting it, and there is no acknowledgment about it.
