Where is the music coming from? the adverts?

If so, install this:

http://adblockplus.org/en/

Say goodbye to ads, "because you're worth it".

how do i turn off the music that plays in this site sometimes it is on during videos and it makes it hard to hear

I just click the audio icon on the ad. It will then show a red slash indicating the audio is off. Then, I don't hear any of the ads(except for the occassional "Congratulations! You have just blah, blah, blah...")Wink

I personally don't use it, but over half of everyone in the world connected to the internet does.

I used to just turn down my speakers until I saw your same advice to someone else with this problem last year.   I don't remember if it was because I hadn't seen the volume button or if I was leery of clicking on an ad, but either way, I was glad to see your tip.    Thanks!

IE came with my '05 computer and it still gets me around.  Just how much better could another browser get me from here to there?

Anyone who uses IE deserves to be hearing music in the background.

If you're using Windows go to the bottom right corner of your screen & right click on the speaker icon that controls volume,  click on open volume control and click on the mute all box.

When you're asking questions like this it helps to tell peeps what your OS is.
