Unable to connect

Yesterday it didn't happen, or before yesterday for what matters, but today I continue to receive this message.

"Unable to connect Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.chess.com."

I'm playing correspondence games, and often thinking long time before moving, but again yesterday, and before didn't happen.

try a different browser

Rikhardr

I had the same problem this afternoon.

I could connect via my browser with everything BUT Chess.com?

It seemed to be down for about an hour and then came back up fine?

I don't think this is browser-problem but a site server problem. Other than clearing cache/history recommend do nothing as may be sorted out in day or  so.

It didn't happen anymore, and I didn't do anything. Maybe there are too many people connecting at the same time, and it reached the maximum capacity chess.com servers can handle. So periodically they throw out someone. Or maybe it is a way to let people know that if they don't pay, their connection is not safe.

try a different browser, this happens to me more often and then, I used Google Chrome and it now works. :)
