unexplained lag

Hello. For the last few days, i have experienced unusual lag related issues when using Chess.com. This occurs irrespective of where i log in from and whether i play on a mobile device or pc.

It only occurs here. Otherwise my internet is normal.

Any ideas?

Hi Martin,

I am in London. That feels unlikely.

Have there been similar reports of lag recently?

We haven't really had any reports of this.

What browser are you using and what kind of connection? Wifi? hard wired? Etc?

I am mostly using wifi or 4G via the app.

When i use a pc its via firefox.

Yes, I was. I think it may have had something to do with my VPN. It seems to have cleared up now thankfully

VPNs do tend to create lag because all the hoops they send your data though.
