I've been playing chess for a while and my username is kinda old and childish since I started when I was a kid. I have never changed my username but I get the error of "To avoid confusion, you may not change your username while connected to Live Chess or registered for any Live Chess competition. Please try again after you are done playing." I don't know exactly how to solve this I've tried reading other forum posts but they don't really help.
It's a perfectly fine user name. I would tell you to write to support for help but they are swamped right now with the problems resulting from the server issues. So I urge you to be grown up and live with panda2019 for at least another few months.
And then you can write to support and they will help you.
