Using vacation time unfairly

Hi,

Why is that I have been mass forfeited on time 300+ daily games today morning that I had paused on vacation?
Sometimes real life demands as much as a 10 day break and I would need to reduce my burden from chess.com.
My father had met with a bike accident on January 15 and I needed to take care of him at hospital. So, I
needed to pause some of my games at chess.com to reduce my burden. I should have normally ended up my vacation period
of time today afternoon were I not mass forfeited up on time by one of the single chess.com staff members.

What is the maximum period of time that a basic member at chess.com is allowed to have on vacation at a
stretch? Isn't it 30 days? But, why am I mass forfeited on time on the 9th day itself? And that too it is
outrageous to do it without any notice to me at all. This is a hobby website page that we play for fun and no
one pays anyone anything to expect to move on time. And also that there is the 30 day vacation facility in
order to reduce our burden in the times of need.

Please undo all my mass forfeits on time. I would like to continue playing with all my games after my father
has been discharged from hospital and is feeling well.

PS: On November 14, I had been mass forfeited 12 daily games on time because of a network problem when I was taking
turns from Android application, the move had not been sent but it remained in 'Pending' state. I noticed
it only after I had lost on time. That too my mobile device was connected to 4G and not Wi-Fi, so I was
not very vigilant about it at all. 4G should have been active all the time. At least Wi-Fi device can
turn off whenever its charge goes empty.

On April 22, I had been mass forfeited 7 newly started daily games on time as White because of a website page bug of
daily games that prevents newly started daily games from showing in turn taking cycle queue eventhough it
has got less than 24 hours remaining. I remained careless when my minimum time shown in that turn taking
cycle queue was 63 hours and I could not afford to check out the daily games list everyday.

This bug of daily games is only present and available in the chess.com website page and not in the Android
application at all.

Taking turns from the Android application instead of the website page is fast enough. I suggest that to have a
fair progress of more than 3 day time limit daily games, in Android application, we could list daily games
in turn taking cycle queue based upon amount of time remaining or least recent move, that can be switched
from amongst the list items by the players playing with the daily games beforehand itself.

Making use of conditional moves in Android application, implementing by using that facility would also be
very much appreciated enough, further more. Much more further more.

I also play at jocly.com, lichess.org, Wordpox and Chess with Friends that have no facility to reduce my
burden on daily games. So, that I play only a fewer number of games there and that too some of the above
mentioned website pages have not got with enough players to play with that either.

Just a suggestion, simply: The Play ==> More Games menu bar and tab bar at www.chess.comwebsite page page points out to www.gambit.com.
www.gambit.com is a useless website page page with more games of it relating to kids or random (haphazard) elements, such as those like luck, dice, cards, etc.
I suggest that to point it to www.jocly.com instead, in order to get more traffic from www.chess.com website page page to www.jocly.com website page page.
I got hold of www.jocly.com website page page from Chess and Variants Android application for mobile devices for Google Play Store.

The common type of thing from among all games at Jocly is that all are two player games and none of them involve with any element of type of RANDOMNESS (HAPHAZARDNESS).
RANDOMNESS (HAPHAZARDNESS) involves and includes, luck, chance, dice and cards.
In backgammon, tactics and strategy skills dominate randomness (haphazardness) involving and including luck, chance, dice and cards.
In backgammon, do not be fooled by the dice into thinking that it is a game of luck. A cup full of strategy and a stomach for taking risk are required to win here.

• How much time is one person entitled to?  With the old version of the app, the limit was something like 30 days, and you could see how much vacation time your opponent had remaining.  After the app was upgraded, that information was no longer given.  I have been playing someone who hasn’t made a move in almost 2 months.  Vacation time is being so flagrantly abused.  Really, do everyone a favor and get rid of it.  If you’re running hundreds of games at once, and life gets in the way of your computer chess playing, tough shit.  Deal with it and stop being rude to all of your opponents...(guys like you ramanvis1988)

www.chess.com web site page - a bug in website prevents newly started games from showing in turn taking cycle of daily games queue even if it has been got lesser time remaining than other games in progress. This is a big enough issue only if we have been got too many games in the daily games list also. Right now I have got 742 daily games in queue and I cannot afford to check out games list every time. I have timed out previously in 7 games due to this bug in website and got eliminated from tournament without advancing into further more rounds, much more.
www.chess.com web site page - in turn taking cycle of daily games queue, if opponent sets conditional moves, and time left for move is 2 days 11 hours for a 3 days per move played game, then after making a move, the timer resets to 3 days. After moves of this played game for all conditional moves are played, the next available played game goes to 3 days plus, skipping all played games with time remaining between 2 days 11 hours and 3 days. This may have disastrous consequences previously. Conditional moves and pre-moves are not supported by using Android app, only computer. Show time left always in hours? If lesser than 2 hours remaining, it is shown off in minutes and seconds, lesser than 1 hour in Android app and www.chess.com web site page - time left rest remaining - mobile device iPad tablet showing off one single hour lesser than computer ever - last but not the least - first but not the fore most. Why? Ever?

Recently one of our team members lost in a league match.  His loss was noted in the match summary with zeroes highlighted in red.  I'm familiar with "fair play/cheaters" having their games highlighted with red zeroes but in this case he did not cheat (so far as I know).  I suspect it was because he abused vacation time.

Does anyone know if this is this site's way of marking a player for vacation abuse?  Perhaps Staff is listening?  Just curious.

For a couple of weeks I was gone on vacation. It's impossible to fix this problem if people aren't cheating when they are actually on vacation

I started play with him games 1 move per 3 days and couple months ago he started obstruct gamee and he abuse of vacations.
I think that I'm now in better positions and he use vacations time and in the same tame he play games with other player while I waiting 13 days for one move.

Ummm... It's vacation time. All paying users are entitled to it and we all agreed to the terms. They can do whatever they want to with it. 

Oh, and that comment about Indians... Immoral? Get a clue, it's most likely an infrastructure problem.
