Mediocre is the new normal.

another poster is asking if v4 is available. it reminds me that many new games have been implemented, while many issues due to lack of function have been ignored.

to staff, if you even bother anymore, can you understand how it is frustrating to see new features when the issues reported for two+ years have not been addressed?

You can see your ratings at “Home > Stats”. Select the time control of interest. For example bullet, blitz, rapid, or daily. You have a different rating for each time control.

The National Football League (NFL) is a virtual monopoly in its domain and one can observe it is more about prioritizing ad commercials over gameplay. If the ONLY chess site on the internet follows a similar model, maybe it is you who should re-adjust your expectations! No offense! Besides, v3 continues to get better. Have you tried the new Puzzle Rush??

no offense taken. yes, i have tried puzzle rush and i like it. however, my issue is the many functions, or, lack of functionality that has been ignored while time and energy is spent on new "features".

you can't compare cc to the nfl. cc is not a monopoly. there are other chess sites online. if anything, i would think the input/questions from longtime members would be considered. much of it has not.

some of us are still waiting for answers...

AlCzervik

to staff, why is this topic and others about the issues with v3 ignored?

i see we have a new feature where, upon clicking a piece, we see where it can go. great! except, most of us know how the pieces move. ugh. this new "feature" happened at the same time we lost the ability to quote or edit.

where is the focus here? is it only getting new members for dollars?

telling members to find the little question mark at the top of the page and then submit a suggestion is quite different than staff responding to queries.

if this help & support topic is to be monitored by the members, why is there a need for staff?

To have a Forum entitled "Help and Support" and then ignore all the Posts therein, is disrespectful to the Members (whether by design, incompetence, or both).

Chess.com can and should do better.

AlCzervik

i keep getting "errors" when i attempt to post.

these type of malfunctions are not abnormal.

i am going to continue to repost issues that need to be handled.

this is basic stuff here. or, i think it is. if there is a malfunction with the servers, tell us. and then get on it.

many of the issues brought forth in this topic have not been considered by staff. we get no answers on anything brought to you in this topic, started in help & support.

many of us see no help or support.

just answer our questions. this topic is not new. the little feedback members have received is to use the hidden function to tell you of issues on your site. so, then, what is this forum good for?

i wrote to staff asking about hosting a tournament where the invitation was friends, and how an invite tournament could be staged for friends. a staff member wrote back that it was a great idea!

three months later, i have a tournament sitting there in purgatory.

great idea!

we'll get back to you.

seem to work on second attempt most of the times.

AlCzervik

now this topic is over six months without any input from staff. many issues members have written of go back much further with no answer.

Most of the problems cant be fixed, that is why staff no longer cares.

absolutely wrong.

virtually any issue can be fixed. coding can be changed. i know you remember the loooong changeover to v3. stuff was changing every week. new "features" were invented, instead of fixing faults that many have brought forth here.

on the point of staff not caring, i agree.

this poor bunny is having problem too
