v3 questions

V3 is like a bad video game, with a ongoing light show.
Everything your cursor passes over literally jumps into view. It's great if you're a 5-year-old who wants to be dazzled by the lights. But if you're a color blind chessnut (like me) it sucks royally.
Apparently, that's the price of relentless software progress.

you misspoke. you said "progress".
why was the analyze feature reworked? it used to be quite simple. now, it appears we have to save a line. if i went through a line in v2, i could go back and forth between moves, and make notes. now there is the "save" function, and, when i am looking at multiple lines in analyze, the < only brings me to the first line i tried.
this is just one more example of how v3 has failed. requiring users to adapt to an incarnation of a function that worked well previously is a complete misstep.
i will echo the comments of those in this thread and others in that v3 fails to consider the ease of use for the customer. for all the time put in, it appears that those controlling cc have redesigned the site the way they want it. they designed it. they get it. what's wrong with everyone else?
i'm still awaiting a valid answer as to how the flip board and settings are hidden.
yet another malfunction. in a vote chess game, i'm unable to copy/paste moves made while analyzing to our team's comments (as we discuss possible moves).
so, i went back to v2, and, voila, it worked.

But only if a crowd raises a question (en mass) will you get the creators' attention.

In a nutshell, the software doesn't work for you. You work for the software.
Kinda like your house (and likely mortgage). You don't own the house -- it owns you.

P.S., I just tried to go back to V2, and got caught in a loop, and sending me back to V3.

here's another crappy thing that should be addressed. we have alerts. but, if we go to the group where the alerts are from, the new topics disappear from our alerts.
you are making us fish instead of providing accessible content.

in groups, why is it that we must scroll through topics to find those we started?
outside of groups, why must we go through the same painful procedure?
have i mentioned this previously? if not, please get on it. if so, a reminder.
why is it our job, as members, to tell you what is blatantly obvious? then, when i express concerns in this thread, i, a paying member, am told to use a new link to simply get functionality back where it was?

Your problems are so minuscule and irrelevant they are unlikely to be addressed much- your just nitpicking in very small issues. "Can't find the thread I started!"
Assuming it was relevant, and not a near copy of another one, search it, and you won't have more then 10-20 options, is that too much? Should we get a doctor?

i hope you get a response here that satisfies you, but, don't hold your breath.
chrka, see this? what you are claiming to be a nonexistent issue due to options is simply not seen by members. while i appreciate that you showed how questions can be brought to cc, i still fall back on my remarks of how the h & s topic should also go straight to staff.
my opinion is that h & s should be monitored regularly, especially with the issues people have with v3.
