Vacation time platinum membership

How does the vacation time for platinum members work exactly? I thought I would have 90 vacation days a year (not that I need that many!) however when I checked I only have "I have 1 month 27 days vacation remaining!", while I have never made use of the vacation time before.

For the members who are annoyed at people using vacation time, I intent to finish all my games before I go to a holiday and will not start games just before. So it's really not my purpose to annoy people with it ;).

Depends when you became platinum. That is when you started earning vacation days, at the rate of two days per month, in excess of the 30 days allowed to basic members.

Edit: I never focused on this before. With the current policy of starting at 7 days, it would take almost 4 years of non-usage to build up to 90 days.

I think I already understand it. Instead of the normal 30 days a platinum can get up to a maximum of 90 days. Pretty useless feature then if you have to wait 4 years and the amount of holidays per month does not increase anything faster than a normal member.

@staff Is this accurate? If so would it not be an idea to increase the rate of holidays for paid members a bit. So that the feature is a bit more usefull? Like given them an increase of 3 per month instead of 2?

I'm not staff anymore, but yeah, this is accurate. You also get a 'bump' of some additional time when you pay for your membership. I don't remember the rates anymore, but the higher the membership you purchase, the more days you get at the time of payment.

Hello all

I am playing a match game with a member  that  had maybe a hundred games or more , and is playing a game or 2 every days those he only wins !

The rest he is going on " vaction mode " holding  us all simmiring on low fire !

What should we do and how can we know how much time he can hold us ?

Here's an article on vacation abuse.  Unfortunately it's only considered abuse if someone is prolonging a clearly lost game.  Otherwise it's his right to take as much time, including vacation, as he wishes.

Well i see i am not the only one  !

There r maybe 20-30 more guys like me having the same problem  ,all waiting for a week or 2  and we all (me included)  r in the winning position !

I am tracking him for 2 weeks and he is purposely delaying those he will loose 2 ,and play only with those he (especially  getting out of the vacation mode for a short time  for " losers" ) win !

I guess its kocher but it stinks .

Added : i just checked  this guy has about 250 guys waiting for him ,all games /members stuck in the 2 days left for god knows how long ,and many more in the 3-4-5 6 etc..etc..

  all these games r stand still cause of 1 guy !!!

That's clearly vacation abuse then and you should file a ticket.
