To prevent this in the future you must make your moves in time.
In order to resume your games, you must go to:
Home->Account->Online Chess Settings
and uncheck the box next to "Pause My Games" and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Preferences".
Once you've done so, you must be sure to go back and make a move in whichever game triggered the auto-timeout protection, as it will have less than 90 minutes left for you to play your move.
