Using the “blue” theme on the latest IOS (iPhone 11 Pro), i’m unable to see the chess board when doing the daily puzzle. All of the pieces appear, however, you can’t see the squares so it makes it difficult to follow diagonals. Seems to just affect the visual aspect because everything else works fine. I’ve had this issue for months but I just assumed it would fix itself over time somehow. I figured it’s been long enough and I should report it but there’s no option on IOS that I could find to report a bug.
Just replicated it on my iPhone 7, so I'm guessing it's an issue on all iPhones.
