Was My Climate Thread Deleted?

What happened to my "climate change = huge hoax" thread? I'm not muted or anything but can't find it anywhere in my topics or hot topics or following. All my other threads are still there? Was it deleted or hidden?

It was deleted. Incredibly biased of the mods.

I mean, that is suppressing the first amendment but you know I agree with you it’s easy to fix, but climate change doesn’t need to happen,but we already argued good luck my friend

Wasn't there one warning? I didn't see much reason to delete/lock it though, after the warning it seemed especially tame compared to earlier on.

The trolls never stopped. They wanted the thread deleted, it shouldn’t have been.

I just got back home expecting to read 5-10 pages of posts. Surprise. Well, it would not be the first time a mod accidently deleted a thread they meant to lock, or a new mod just deleted a thread outright.

It's a mixed bag. I don't think the "copy" thread lifting content from Elroch's should have been allowed in the first place, but given that it went for that many pages I think it is wrong to delete a thread that long without warning. A locked thread can be reinstated on appeal, and that would have been the next logical step.

Much retort posting from one of the alarmist spammers @diog wearing out the y o u letters on his keyboard, possibly a contributory factor as the mods told to look out for flame wars.

Also some recently joined accounts began spamming, maybe one of the mods having a bad hair day & it all became too much.

I looked at that thread once and I didn't see anything too serious but i saw some arguements and insults and it was escalating, so it probaly get really heated when you were offline or something, EndgameEnthuisiast, and the mods decided to shut it down

You are lucky you weren't banned. I think the mods should not be so lenient on trolls. You started a troll topic that is clearly against the site rules, at least a temporal ban should have been used.
