The last few pages of that thread was all politics and never even got a mod warning. Yet mine got a warning just for a few people being naughty meanies lol
You guys really need to learn what the moderation policies on politics and religion really are. Mentioning either topic/area is not an issue. It's a concerted effort to start a discussion about (or to continue to harp on them when asked to lay off) those topics that will become actionable to a mod.
Elroch's own stated guideline sits on top of this "layer", and it's solely his discretion on enforcement until the TOS is actually violated.

Yet another thread where they supressed freedom of speech. They said the topic was "not forgiving enough" so what do they do? They lock the thread instead of issuing discipline to the people who relentlessly personally attacked people. I'm curious how you even found that it was so far back in the pages.
You also don't understand what freedom of speech means. There is no freedom of speech on a privately own media site. Get used to it. If you spew nonsense, they will delete it at their discretion. Whining about it constantly isn't going to help.
Oh and once again you pop out of nowhere! I have nothing against a site having their own rules as long as they actually follow their own rules and aren't hypocrites. I never spewed nonsense, and I did nothing wrong.

I just didn't block, but I did say multiple times to stop the politics and side arguments and even reported a few posts. I have no other moderator powers. That's not my responsibility just because I started the thread. It was to signal to the people posting and the site that it wasn't intended to be a political thread. I'm actually glad it was deleted, as I was going to go back and delete all my posts anyway, now I don't have to, but am still curious on why.

To avoid getting one's thread locked, one would need to moderate so that it's kept within TOS. If one didn't care, then there is no further responsibility other than one's own posts.

Wolfbird's account is a year older than mine. It is abundantly clear that I, Elroch, Llama, Ziryab. Mpaetz...now Wolfbird...Gollywhumper's accounts, etc. etc. are all separate posters. Only someone unstable trying to convince themselves that they only have one person disagreeing with them would conflate so many posters that display all different kinds of expertise, writing styles, pet peeves, etc.

ExploringWA had the same malady. Chuck all your grenades, then delete everything you posted and start again with a clean slate, able to make all the same arguments all over again without evolving one iota. It's a cowardly version of rebooting.
I don't think freedom is speech is being violated; these are forums on a multinational private company's website and they can monitor chat how they want.
I do think Elroch's thread used to lean heavy into politics (it's kind of dead now) and nothing is being done about it

You will always leave proof of your posts to those who work here. Your original posts remain in their database. So, if it comes down to you accusing me of changing your posts we can always take it to staff.
