What is the max size for custom theme background?

I tried to upload 14.9MB. I waited about 10min nothing happened, then I compressed it to 2.5MB still not uploading.

I believe that the max size is 2 MB.

I stumbled upon this when I was trying to do the same thing. Ive used images above 2 mb, the drawing in my profile is 1.5mb with 1300 by 900. These numbers arent set in stone but 1400-1200 have worked for me. now if tour image is a gif then right click and rename your file to a .jpeg
