What is with the ads?

The chess.com site has a bug! I logged onto the site and when to move in a game. Once I moved the piece the screen re-freshed filled with ads and asked if I want to join. I am a premium member! This happened several times and once it was working, it did it again when my computer activated the screen saver.

What is going on here? If the site needs to use ads for unpaid accounts, then it does. But it should not interfer with the paid ones.

Anyone else have this issue?

I also got an ad (for Luminosity.com) when I tried to watch the US Chess League. I posted a topic on this under Premium Member forum and also sent the staff a message. So far no response. Hopefully, these are minor glitches soon to be cleared up but it would be nice to hear this from chess.com staff.

I used to get ads whenever I tried watching Chess.com TV despite my diamond membership.  They aren't chess, com ads, but come from the video streaming service (forgot their name, sorry).  IM Rensch on one of his many programs said that you needed to use an ad blocker (Ad Blocker, Ad Blocker plus) to get rid of them.  I followed his advice and haven't been bothered since.

Got a response from Chess.com and you are correct. The ad isn't Chess.com's but from the video service.
