xD I already deleted my comment. I was only asking because i thought that rating was too high to match with me. I understand you need higher players to play lower players. But where do you draw the line? So it does not abuse the lower player. xD

yes, and it worked. as it should. so, it is possible it was a one-time glitch.
however, my experiences here are that these things tend to repeat themselves many times before they are addressed. that's why i posted it right away.

So... it was a game where you were 690 and your opponent was 940? As in, the first bullet game you played in July of 2021?
The machine doesn't know your strength when you start, so your rating might swing wildly for your first five games. After that it's kind of the same thing, sure, you're 690 or whatever but it's still possible you're actually 1200, so you'll get some wild pairings at first. By the time you have 25 games, I think they'll keep you within 200 points of your rating.
