If you say “plz” because it’s shorter than “please”, I will say “no” because it’s shorter than “yes”…

Jokes aside, points seem to be a measure of the users’ activity on the forums: the more posts you make, the more points you get. I don’t think that at this point you can use them for anything, maybe this is a feature they will implement in the future.
