I like how chess.com puts a high rank againest you & if you abort the game You get the masage. You cant do that.

Check out the Fair Play policy. Aborting is part of that and if you don't want to see the message, then don't abort. If you don't like playing people a lot higher rated than you, then modify your settings so you don't automatically get paired with those players.  All that information is available in the link provided.

Players have to take a little responsibility in the choices they make. Some don't and abort games when they don't like the ratings of the opponents, or do what you say and just let the time run out. That is what the Fair Play policy seeks to address.

But part of the responsibility of the player is to ensure they are getting what they want out of a pairing and that includes setting the filters in a way that won't pair them against someone they aren't willing to play.

In addition, due to the fact you can't control people, you should only be willing to play a time control where you might have to sit at the board for the whole time, even if your opponent isn't being fair and makes you wait. One way to do that is play a shorter beginning time control with an increment.

But the site isn't your baby sitter but it does have the incentive to put some mechanism in place to try and limit those that abort too often or just let games time out. Their actions impact others and the Fair Play policy seeks to address that, at least somewhat, to limit people when they play in that manner.
