What's up with Daily Chess rating system?

I don't know what's going on, my opponents lose their time and I don't gain rating. And today my opponent resigned on move 2 for whatever reason and I didn't gain the rating again.
A minimum number of moves have to be played for the game to affect rating, I think it's 4 each.
