When I try to use it, I get a red error bar at the top of the screen which reads, "Master games - game type not a valid parameter."
When try to use another option (like my own past games), it goes to the starting set up (before first move).
The red banner was reported to staff last week.
Well, it worked previously, Martin, so somebody on staff tweeked some with an unexpected consequence.
It is what I pay for.
The Game Explorer is still malfunctioning. I have had to break out my old copy of MCO.
Also the background palettes and text colors have changed.
Apparently, changes to the site have had unintended consequences.
It's been over 2 weeks now, it was broken for about a week before I submitted a bug report and posted here about it. Request a refund, that's what I did. Maybe that will get their attention.
I am not going to renew my membership until it is fixed. Opening Explorer is why I have the membership.
Well I requested a refund for a month of service but they gave me a prorated refund and closed my premium account. I'd rather have just gotten a small refund for the month this has been broken, but it's fine. I'll resubscribe when they fix this bug.
The support person who refunded me didn't seem to understand the issue. He said move explorer is working fine. It is working fine, except it doesn't import the moves from daily matches. He said clearing the cache would likely fix the problem, but I really don't want to clear my cache unless it actually will fix the problem.
Maybe someone here who has the issue can try clearing their cache and letting us know if that fixes it?
Also please update here when it's fixed, I really would like to purchase a membership again, but I'm not willing to while this is broken, it's the top feature I use.
I just tried the Explorer link on a game from @JamieDelarosa and it loaded correctly. The import message occurred but the red banner was gone, the current position loaded, and I was able to navigate to find the position a few moves prior in the database.

Odd that it works for you. You're clicking the arrow on the right side, not the position name link, right? I went ahead and completely cleared my cache, and tried loading a position, and I got the red banner still, along with a plug to buy a premium account. The board was loaded to a new game position. So clearing the cache did not work, and now I have to log in to every site again.

Yes. It's possible the code is fixed in beta but hasn't been pushed to the rest of the site though.

I let my Platinum Membership, which I have maintained for years, lapse. I have also ceased gifting memberships to worthy site users. I can't continue to financially support an operation which is so unresponsive to the needs of its paying members
