white bishops not displaying

Hey!
My white bishops aren't being displayed in online chess games... It looks like my browser is trying to load the bishop image but it never gets there - it just keeps 'loading' for ever.
Any ideas?
Using Safari 4.0.3 on a Macbook Pro with OSX 10.4.11
