Why is my board so small?

My board is so small, but when I try to enlarge it with ctrl +, it makes the text and chat room HUGE and the board is fuzzy.  How do I fix this?

Are you talking about live games?  If so then the size of the board is very easy to fix. 

Step 1) Go to the live chess page.  (Not like the one with the button that says "Play live chess" but the page that you get to after you click that button.) 

Step 2) Find the bar in the upper right hand corner that has something like this,

Step 3) Click on the "Settings" button.

Step 4) Click the "Style" tab on the far upper left of the window that just opened.

Step 5) Click on the second to top tab that says "Boadr size"

Step 6) Click on the size that you would like to board to be.  You can always change it again if you don't like the way that it is.

thanks clockburner, it was very helpful. Tip: set board size to huge; the board will take up half the screen.
