getting extra time? you must be playing with increments. every you make a move , a specified time increment is added to your clock, an example here is you're playing blitz with 5:3 time control. before you move, 3 seconds is added to your clock.
A doubt with time...

What a mistake, I forgot to tell that (obviously) I do not play with extra time, that's the problem!
Thanks for answering Tatiana92!
Thank you very much for the explanation Schachgeek!
It's been really useful for me, I also believe it can be a problem with the router settings (hardly, cause I've never ever had a problem before) or the live server. Besides, it's a little bit strange the fact that only occurs here, isn't it?
Anyway, this is only a game and 'm not gonna worry about that particular thing!
See you soon.

Hi everyone, excuse me if this has already been asked, but I'm still new and it's the first time I post here.
I usually play live chess, and I really enjoy it, but a few times I've realized something strange at the end of the game. The fact is that when the opponent gets to the final of his controul-time, I can see that there's only 1 sec. left and the next move he has 3 or 4 sec, when, actually, he sould be already out of time.
This has happened to me maybe 4 or 5 times, not many, I know, but it bothers me, seeing that I'm about to win a game because of the time, and when the opponent is about to finish his time, for no reason, he gets "extra" time, and, by chance, I happen to be about to consume my time too, and I lose.
I don't know if that's normal or not, if somebody could help me I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you very much
p.d. sorry for my bad English!
