Abandoning, disconnecting or resigning a game after 3 or 4 moves.

When I'm playing 30 minute games, almost half the time my opponent will abandon, disconnect or resign after only several moves.  This has just happened to me 4 times in the last 10 minutes. I don't want to report anyone but this seems wrong to me, at the very least it's quite frustrating. Wondering what your thoughts are.

Interesting.  At what level can you be assured that you're playing against a human? 

I'm new here, I don't know anyone and I'm far away from ever playing in a tournament. I do know the difference between playing with a computer character and a real person, unless you're suggesting that the guy I just now played living in Sweden was not a human.

Anyone who plays against me knows I'm American because the flag is shown next to my name. Does it make sense for Chess.com to perpetrate an untruth by making you believe you're playing a real person?

But he looks like a real person is my point.
