its not a new phenomenon to online chess these porr sports and sore losers have been pulling this stunt for a long time
I report people who abandon games.
same here these low lifes are the same people who walk off the job in the middle of their shift instead of resigning properly and just like that they get the same result no job no win
Why does the System draw me out after lost the connection for maybe 30 seconds.that happend two times allready to me. Before i had three minutes time to fix my connection a again.Whats going on here.
it is a strat tho if i ave lttle time i do it however in rapid thats just rude
So that means this chess board is mutate to People with a 100% stable connection.
Whats wrong with the 3 min solution like before.
On the other Hand you allow that players who dont move for the rest of the time,even if its 20min,as long as there are online.I reported so many allready,but its seems you not taking any action of that.Very seldom i got a response.

From me they gain a report for poor sportsmanship, a message saying I have reported them for poor sportsmanship and a block, so I never have to play against the such ever again. There is no excuse for this type of behavior. It is just rude.

Just disgusting infantile poor sportsmanship. I always pre-move a safe move if I cannot keep an eye on the clock to avoid giving a win to such cowards.

Abondoners are thee biggest losers that exist. Grow a pair, learn from your defeats and resign like a - well whatever the heck you identify as, but don't abandon. If you do, YOU are the loser!!!
first ,play chess is not a thing ,anything not invole money is not a real thing,it's just a game ,we don't make a living by play chess ,so , don't resign is just meanningness, to me , i don't care losing a chess game , tons of people better than me in chess, so , losing is just not a thing, i resign immidiately ,also . i checkmate as fast as i can when m1 ,just don't make the opponet think i'm toying him or her , i'm this kind person,the the answer is just different people have different character,also, i can't play under time pressure , losing a winning game when short of time , chess is not a so called war ,it's just a game.
If your opponent doesn't resign in a losing position, it's not bad etiquette. Your opponent controls his/her pieces, you control yours. You both make your independent decisions, regardless of the position. However, if your opponent completely abandons a game and lets his/her clock run out, that is a sign that your opponent is a coward and thinks that leaving a few minutes on the game clock is a justifiable reason to not resign.
I had a few times as if my opponent abandoned the game, but actually waited until very few last seconds to move. I guess he was thinking I will not be around when he moves.

It can happen OTB too. As the NM pumpkin head said, it's called doing a Von Bardeleben in the trades. And I don't mean jumping off a window.
Result of children not being taught the importance of losing (and winning) with grace.
