auto resign is a unique feature. Ten seconds to make a move in a 10 minute game.  : therefore  not a 10 min game : its 10 second chess. So with game won ay abandonment in place  why is auto resign. ?

You have 55 seconds to make your first move in a 10 minute game.

. nice one me old mucker.  55 seconds to make a cup of tea. noted .well after ten moves you still get the 10 second warning to auto resign. is it just a Saturday thing ? does it even work. ? is it off putting enough to lose on the spot ?

Why do you click Play if you want to go make a cup of tea first?

That doesn't make sense in a live game.

I lose a lot on time in 10 minute chess and I have never had a 10 second warning pop up, except just before I timed out, having used the full ten minutes.

Please read the link I posted previously.

well this is the great modern dilemma . it is possible but this ten second ritual is going to test the old kettle teabag alternative milk shake sprint.

long move timer ......then if after ten moves it performs a pocket calculator sum and Bing "game abandonned" depending on your game time . All experienced  so far.  But I'm still playing a ten second clock.  its not ten minute " wash the cup as well " chess. its game abandoned. waterlogged pitch  missing a black pawn etc.....did i mention biscuit tin wrestling. thats ten seconds.
